Thrive Equine Physio provides equine physiotherapy services focused on pain management, injury rehabilitation and performance support for both competition and leisure horses. Each horse is treated like an athlete, with physiotherapy tailored to improve movement, strength and comfort, supporting consistency in work and long-term physical wellbeing.

Thrive Equine Physio supports horses returning to work following injury or surgery, with a focus on safe, sustainable outcomes and ongoing performance, while working alongside veterinarians to ensure coordinated care where required.

Georgia Sumner-Davis

Georgia always knew she wanted to work with animals, beginning her journey with a Physiotherapy degree from Otago University in Dunedin. After 18 months working in public healthcare, she moved to the UK to complete a Postgraduate Diploma in Veterinary Physiotherapy at Hartpury University. Alongside her studies, she furthered her experience in human physiotherapy working in the NHS.

Georgia has a passion for helping and building relationships with animals. She values the time physiotherapy allows for thorough assessment and treatment, and finds reward in the challenge of gaining the trust of more reluctant animals. Georgia enjoys educating owners and empowering them with practical advice to support their pet’s care at home, recognising them as an essential part of the team. She is especially passionate about working alongside traditional veterinary care to help older animals stay comfortable, active, and engaged in life.
